I AM IN LOVE WITH THE LORD
-------- Feelings after the Christian camp in Green Lake, IL
The nearly three-day intense Christian-training phase made me grow incredibly fast in lord's spirit and I am very pleased to feel that I am in stronger and more intimate love with our lord now. We praised to the lord together in a big circle, supporting each other by saying Amen after each sentence made; or in a small group by kneeling down near bed or standing by the lake or walking along the alley. We read God's words, in Peter, Revelation, Matthew, Timothy, Hebrew, Psalms, etc. The lord’s words are indeed light, bringing us out of silliness and darkness. We were so much blessed and overwhelmed by God's love in this weekend. I have been to a Christian retreat for three times since I came to USA (former two with American Christians), and during this one, I strongly felt lord's presence and love through our signing (dancing), praying, praising lord and share of our feelings. I enjoyed reading lord's words very much in Peter: Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls. When we read, we changed you into I, which made us nearer to God. Another one: And after you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, support, strengthen, and establish you. To him is the power forever and ever. And also: So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone.
We recited lord's words repetitively together with power and passion, freeing our souls to communicate with God, who also bestows us food, safety, happiness, peace, wisdom and fulfills our hearts with pure spirits.
I am so blessed that lord chose me as his beloved child and brought me this golden chance to nurture me with his words. I also appreciate all the fun and lessons I received from our brothers and sisters, who are so happy to draw near to God and open their hearts wide to our heavenly father. My mind is jammed with beautiful scenes and happy memories, but I am going to end now with a verse in Jeremiah 29:11:
For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.
Thanks, dear Lord, for all your plans for me and for us!
